I am cyrus's auntie

i'm an aunt already!! hahaha....
was telling mum the other day that i have an urge to be called auntie by my brother's child...wonder when they'll tie the knot...
and today i was reminded that i already am an auntie!!! my nephew cyrus, also the great grand child of my ah gong! and he shall be calling me " biao gu " ... man that sounds so old can!!!

this nephew of mine is a cheerful baby, cos he seldom cries and its pretty easy to make him smile and laugh =)
even even when he see's strangers he jus frowns...does not wail...like i do when i was a baby...hahahaha...

and boy is he a heavy weight! not only cos he's the youngest and the 4th generation, but he's 10kg at 6 mths!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i love to carry him! so chubby and nice to hug!! hahaha...

really can't got enough of him...and i love it even more when i see ah gong smile so wide when he look at his great grand son...so sweet!

now must wait till next sun to see cyrus again =)

tired! so tired! but party on!!!

the time now is 9.30pm

the earliest time i am home in 4 days.

i am so freaking tired!!!!!!!!!

lets see....after a exhausting (but definitely fun) night on wed...i decided at the last min to head down to china black for the sim bash...

its the first time i'm going clubbing with only my girlfriend and me...
and its the first sim bash that i'm attending...
and its the first time i get harrassed by a bunch of (god knows from where) blokes...
and its the first time more than 3 guys approached me!!!!!!
and therefore!!!!
boy is it fun!! *grinz*

but on a side note, b4 i proceed, i was freaked out when the bunch of assholes jus suddenly came up to me...cos honestly, they were over friendly....

right, so that night i got down to china black at bout 9 plus 10...there was a pagaent going on...the male win was quite expected, and he's really quite cute, spoke with alot of confidence...plus he has the x-factor...and i couldn't really be bothered with the female win ... muahahaha...

then they opened up the dance floor at bout 11 plus...and i realised that these guys from sim sure knows how to party!! its really fun! the music wasn't too bad...and the crowd's pretty cool...

at the beginning it was jus eve and me...dancing...pretty peaceful...until...
she saw her cute guy! the one she's been having a major crush on!! he was at the dance floor too!
guess what!!!!!!!!!
he's my fren!!! adrian, in my dance club!!! hahaha....welcome to the small world =)

so i intro them and tried to get them to dance, but my fren was way too shy la...kept looking away...and that stupid fren of mine also dunno how to zu dong....tsk tsk...
so i can't help much, and i couldn't really bother either cos at that very same moment, i saw my cute guy too!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he knows adrian!!!!!!!!! you have no idea how excited i was when i saw him!!! but when i saw him, he was also leaving the dance floor...sigh...but i'm happy to see him anyway =)

so i was dancing with eve, when suddenly, this guy jus popped out of no where and started to dance with me! it was still pretty ok and we chatted a bit...
but then he got a little bit too close for my comfort when his hands were all over me, and he tried to do some weird dance....hmmmm....
he tried to ask for my no but er...of course i didn't give him la!!!!!!!!!! hello!!!
but he was pretty persistent...and he even got his fren to try to get my no!...loser
unsuccessful in getting my no, he tried to hit on my fren...

he wouldn't have separated us if not for this other guy who suddenly came up to me...
come to think of it, this guy is tall and very built...he jus suddenly came up from behind and the next thing i know his hands were ard my waist!! honestly i didn't know what to do...cos he was jus babbling away and trying to get my attention...well of course he got my attention! he was so all over me can! but i couldn't get him off me! he was huge! i was literally pushing him away!

that was when i started to panic cos i think it was pretty evident i was trying to get away from him but i couldn't!!! i think i was moving around in such circles that when things calmed down a bit there was a circle of empty space surrounding me....hahaha...
anyway if his frens didn't come and pull him away, i think i might have jus kicked his balls there and then....sheesh...

and at that point in time, during the stupid incident...i really wished my cute guy (or anyone for that matter of fact) would come up and save me from those guys....but of course its jus my wishful thinking...sigh....

well that was not the end of the night, cos another 2 guys danced with us, but we backed off when they tried to dirty dance...hahaha....well at least they didn't persist...

and this other guy, more cautious in getting to know gals la i'll say...can tell he was treading his ground...i appreciate that...but too bad, we had to leave already ...ahahaha....

in general, i must say that there are pros and cons clubbing with guy frens and clubbing with gal frens...
i think its more exciting clubbing with gal frens...hahahaha....

by the time i got out of the club its already 2am, fri morn...tot there might be night rider...but waited for half and hour and eventually had to take cab home...
meng, really sorry that i called you so late! hee...hope didn't wake your parents...apologies!!

and the next day i've got morn lessons for the whole day...plus at night went to the airport to send my relatives off....that was a fri...got home at bout 1am plus...

then this morn, had to wake up early to attend a canon digital workshop!! nearly couldn't get up...damn tired...i'll talk bout the workshop later...

on the whole, it has all been fun =) cos honestly, if i'm not going to party now, when will i??

PARTY!!!!!!!!!!

O-U-C-H

had to crawl out of bed just now cos my legs are aching very badly...
think cos i danced too hard and too much last night...

ellen's birthday yest, so went clubbing with her =) ooooohwee!!!!!!
she got drunk while i was a bit tipsy, but it was great! hahaha....

at first it was pretty sad cos only 2 of us gals...
but at the end of the night we went dbl o first to meet chun and fabian, then hopped down to zouk to meet ellen's frens (pple i dun know)

actually she got drunk at dbl o, and we were on the cab heading home at bout 2am...but one phone call and dunno how her fren managed to tricked her, before we know it we are at zouk! but it was fun! no regrets man!
all 6 guys were waiting for us there =) a whole bunch of jokers really! hahaha...damn funny....

it was my first time at dbl o and also my first time at zouk's mambo night...
what i think???

i love it! i love dbl o's music! dance floor! nearly everything! except...
thier bartenders really suck la...svc was damn bad la...
tried to get a glass of water for ellen to let her sober up but they refused lor! not even tap water! sheesh....
and at the ladies counter, those guys were like so dao can! and honestly they look like kids! oh well...

in any case, i really had a great time =) Fabian got picked up by a gal, think its his fren...and they were soooooooo close! i think maybe cos ellen and i were there so chun got no opportunity to hook up some gals...hahaha....sorry dude! =)

tonight got sim's bash at china black...dunno whether wan to go or not...like not many pple i know are going lei...sigh...

yest came home at (record breaking) 4am...and mum didn't yell at me or gave me the ultimatum or anything!!!!!!!!!!! this morn she can even joke with me lor! wow....
yest afternoon somemore quarreled with her...hahahaha....

oh! and i saw rachel at dbl o last night!!! the same sweet and (i thought) innocent gal who approached me (very abruptly) and made frens with me! ahahah....really cannot judge one's books by its cover...

hmmm....i wan to go wake boarding again...anybody free???

she reminded me of grandma

she was standing there...under the bright sun, on the 1st few steps of the sloppy, yet long and steep stairway...
one hand on the railing, and the other holding a walking stick...
i went up to her and held her hand...she smiled at me...
her hand was very wrinkled, but soft to the touch...fragile
her hair grey and curly...neat and away from her face
her smile was bright, though she had to struggle up the stairs, we had a nice chat along the way up and not once did she complain or frown...

are you in love?

someone asked me, "how do you know when you love a person?"...

i would think that most of us would agree that when you love a person you'd know it! but of course...there are always exceptions

so i tell the person, i'm no expert in this field, afterall i've never been in a real relationship. but i've ever been madly in love with someone...its a feeling, individual only to yourself, so intense and mad...

when you can't stop thinking of that person, when everything that you do is only for the good of him or her...you are in love.
when your heart aches so badly just seeing the person you love with someone else, you are jealously in love.
when you wilingly sacrifice most everything for him or her... you love the person...

of course, there are many ways to protect and love an individual...but no matter how, no matter when, just be true to yourself. and really there is no reason to love!! well at least i believe that if you need a reason to love someon...do you really love the person for who he or she is?

call me a stick in the mud, old fashioned, stodgy, whatever...
but i do believe that the man should take the initiative to tell the lady, to express his love for her...
the lady will be flattered! amongst other things...

this may be the 21st century, where ladies are equal in many areas...but i do believe that when it comes to matters of the heart...she wants to be pampered, she wants to be the envy of others, a fairy tale...

do not fear being rejected for expressing your love, i tell my friend...for he who tries, who fights for it, will only be applauded!
what matters most is that you've tried. at the very least, she knows.

christmas is just round the corner...
what do i want for christmas? he asks me...
in all vanity and affection i said " a treat at lawry's, a pair of diamond tear drop earrings this season"...

but in reality...whatever this christmas has in hold for me, i just don't want to be alone...
i want someone to tell me he loves me and that he just wants to spend time with me...

fun! stories gala

i woke up today in excruciating pain, thought i wouldn't be going anywhere today...
but i promised to help benny out at his fund raising event...and i felt better by evening...
i'm so glad i decided to go afterall!!!!!!!! got to meet and interact with several local artists!!!

lets see...
there was dwayne tan, produced his own album and worked with benny but i forgot the title.
lawrence wong, acted in moulmein high, eston, and several other plays...sang a song tonight(gan dong) which he composed himself...chatted w him a bit...pretty cute and definitely a talented guy =)
oliver, heard from jocelyn that he's a professional dancer and singer...he really had the physique of a dancer...a ballet dancer! reminded me of billy elliot...
jeremy...he sang only heaven by rick price! did a really good job hitting those notes =) helps that he's really good looking...kekeke...
of course there was julian hee!!!!!! man he's so cute in person! his dimpled smile is so warm and friendly! participated in manhunt, dunno which year, but man i'm dying to see those abs!!

jocelyn did two dramatic readings and i absolutely loved it!! loved the choices of the pieces and love the ways she recited it!
there was ms low yuen wei...dunno who wrote the script for butterfly people, but i think the short film was fantastiv too! emotionally charged acting...a little bit profound, need a bit more time to digest but overall can grasp the meaning...and the editing was good...
